Welcome To

Parkland

A paradise of green land and sunny skies.

Welcome to Parkland

This pristine suburban oasis is ready to delight with a quiet elegance.

A paradise of green land and sunny skies, the city of Parkland rests between Coconut Creek and the staggering expanse of Florida’s Everglades just 30 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale. This high-class retreat is well-known for its manicured neighborhoods and ritzy character, driven in part by sophisticated establishments like the Parkland Golf and Country Club

The city of Parkland was incorporated in 1963. Though it’s evolved from its original agrarian atmosphere, modern Parkland features strict zoning laws aimed to keep the town’s park-like feel and ample preserves. A population just shy of 40,000 means that Parkland is the ideal mix of small-town charm and more urban amenities.

Pressed along gorgeous waterways and ponds, the homes of Parkland are absolutely show-shopping. The red-tiled roofs and Mediterranean architecture have a timelessness to them, complemented by the air of opulence surrounding exclusive neighborhoods. Surrounded by viridescent landscaping and sparkling, deep navy waters, the abundant single-family houses shine with a sophistication and natural beauty.

Residents don’t have to give up big-city offerings like exceptional dining in order to have ample space and scenic homes. Here, the locals are invested in maintaining the town’s idyllic charm and are highly engaged with the community.

Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping

Parkland’s residents are outfitted with enough stores to provide everything they might need for day-to-day living, but when they want a true, luxury retail experience, they typically head over to the nearby city of Boca Raton. Among the top shopping destinations in all of South Florida, the Town Center at Boca Raton carries more than 200 stores and restaurants, including luxury brands like Coach, Gucci, and Cartier.

Foodies in Parkland are able to travel around the culinary globe thanks to the town’s multitude of exquisite eats, which range from classic steakhouses to internationally-inspired hotspots. Residents can choose to perk up their mornings by visiting Carmela's Coffee Company, where the expertly-pulled espresso and fair-trade Costa Rican coffees are as impressive as the company’s dedication to sustainable sourcing.

Déjà Blue takes its cues from a myriad of continental cuisines, including the culinary delights of countries like Italy, France, and Greece. Featuring some of the finest Japanese fare and sushi in all of Broward County, Bluefin is a chef-driven restaurant helmed by the famed Chef Yozo Natsui.

Along with its namesake wine and romantic ambiance, Malbec Grill specializes in creative steakhouse classics, infused with the flavors of Spanish and Argentinean cuisine. Los Bocados is the place to go for the ultimate customization experience, and their gourmet tacos will leave customers coming back for more. The Queen’s Tea House is unique among the establishments of Parkland and serves more than 30 tea flavors in their opulent England-inspired venue.

Things to Do

Getting together as a community in Parkland is at the center of most activities, surpassed only by excursions into the city’s multiple park spaces and outdoor recreation facilities. From November through April, the Parkland Farmers Market invites residents to get out and browse the best of local produce and goods.

Residents looking for a little bit of glamor with their socialization will want to become members at the Parkland Golf and Country Club. In addition to a signature golf course designed by the famed player, Greg Norman, the club also boasts resort-style amenities like private, pool-side cabanas, spas, and fitness facilities.

Pine Trails Park and Terramar Park are both loaded with family-friendly options for activities, from sports fields and courts to trails, playgrounds, and even fishing locations. The adorably named Barkland Dog Park caters to the community’s canine residents large and small, offering more than 2-acres of fenced-in space for residents’ furry friends.
